Easy Fudgey Brownies
The gooeyest fudgey brownies sweetened with coconut sugar. While coconut sugar is still a sweetener and raises blood sugar in a similar way as cane sugar, it is far less processed and brings with it the vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants from the coconut fruit. It wouldn’t be a great idea to consume high amounts of coconut sugar on a daily basis, but everything fits in moderation, and this is a much healthier alternative to cane sugar.
These chewy brownies are one of my easy 10-minute recipes, and are the perfect healthy-ish grain free, gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free alternative for those brownie lovers!
Ingredients
2 eggs
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup almond flour
1/4 cup coconut sugar
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
dash of salt
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350. Mix all your wet ingredients, then add in the dry. Spray a square brownie pan with you choice of cooking spray, pour in the batter, and bake for ~25 minutes. Immediately after removing from the oven, sprinkle more chocolate chips on top, they’ll melt from the heat of the brownies but if you put them on top before going in the oven they’ll sink in. Enjoy!
