Crispy Flax Crackers

Homemade flax crackers for easy snacking! Flaxseeds are absolutely packed with nutrients and are high in omega-3 fatty acids, which promote heart health and fight inflammation. These crackers are high in protein and fiber for a filling snack that promotes healthy digestion.

This recipe also features chia seeds, which are extremely hydrating — they absorb up to 100x their weight in water!

These crackers are great healthy, crispy snack and taste incredible with my Cauliflower Hummus!

Ingredients

1 cup ground flaxseed ⁣
4 Tbsp chia seeds⁣
1/2 cup water ⁣
2 Tbsp sesame seeds ⁣
2 tsp dried oregano ⁣
2 tsp died parsley
2 tsp dried basil

Directions

Preheat your oven to 350. Mix flaxseed, chia seeds, and water together into a dough. Add sesame seeds and spices and knead with your hands, eventually rolling the dough into a ball once the ingredients are completely combined. Flatten your dough with a rolling pin and cut into squares, and lay flat on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15 min and let cool to fully harden. Enjoy!
