Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Cookies

I’m a firm believer in daily chocolate, and these rich dark chocolate cookies sprinkled with a little sea salt really hit the spot. This recipe is paleo, gluten free, only uses a little coconut sugar for a sweetener, and the sweet & salty combo adds a fun little twist. Dark chocolate is packed with antioxidants and supports the production of serotonin and melatonin, hormones that regulate your sleep cycle. A dark chocolate cookie is the perfect wind-down treat after a long day!

Ingredients

🌱 1 cup almond flour⁣
🌱 1/4 cup coconut sugar⁣
🌱 1/2 tsp baking powder⁣
🌱 1/3 cup cocoa powder⁣
🌱 1/4 cup coconut oil⁣
🌱 1/2 tsp vanilla extract⁣
🌱 2 eggs⁣
🌱 Dash of sea salt (+ more for the top!)⁣

Directions

Preheat your oven to 350. Combine dry ingredients, then stir in eggs one at a time and add the vanilla. If you want to make the cookies a little sweeter, you can throw in some dark chocolate chips too. Drop dough onto a baking sheet and bake for ~15 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle sea salt on top while still hot. Let them cool and enjoy!
