Spicy Turmeric Cauliflower Steaks

I paired my all-time favorite vegetable, cauliflower (even though it’s so hard to choose) with my all-time favorite spice, turmeric, to make these colorful cauliflower steaks. This is an incredibly easy dish to make, but is out of this world flavorful. This recipe is an amazing way to spice up a basic vegetable, and definitely adds some color to your plate.

Directions

1 head cauliflower ⁣
2 Tbsp olive oil⁣
2 Tbsp lemon juice⁣
1 Tbsp minced garlic⁣
1/2 Tbsp salt⁣
1/2 Tbsp chili powder⁣
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 Tbsp freshly grated ginger⁣
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp cumin

Directions

Preheat your oven to 425. Trim the stem leaves of the cauliflower and cut into steaks. Combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, chili powder, and turmeric. Cover cauliflower slices with this mixture. Roast in the oven for 45 minutes. While it roasts, combine ginger, pepper and cumin in a blender or mash with a fork. After 45 minutes sprinkle your ginger mixture over the cauliflower, and roast for another 10 minutes.
